Eric Church is coming to Buffalo to perform Thursday night at Key Bank Center! WYRK will be live with Wendy Lynn outside starting at 3. Eric will do two sets during the show and tickets are still available.

Eric Church is no stranger to Buffalo. As a matter of fact, fans may remember the show he performed at The Buckin' Buffalo when he was starting his climb to become a major country star. The place was jammed packed and the hit song that Eric had on country radio was "How 'Bout You."

That show came at the time he initially was opening for Rascal Flatts and, for one reason or another, became separated from the band's tour and was doing side shows in the markets that Rascal Flatts was also performing in. Just one more situation in which Eric Church has proven to be his own man and do things the way he prefers to do them. Regardless of opinion or risks.

Eric Church songs have a masculine, gritty tone and are certainly far from the stereotypical "Bro Country" that has caused so much controversy among traditional country music fans.

I found a few decent covers of some Eric Church songs. The twist is that these are performed by ladies! As you can tell, these women are quite talented and, with their own style, offer a different perspective to Church's music.
