The first of two Maple Weekend events happens this weekend around New York State and it’s your chance to bring the family for all sorts of maple related fun! The Maple Producers of New York State work hard all year round to keep their trees, sap lines and sugar shacks ready for folks to see what goes in to making pure, sweet, delicious maple products!

Among the activities to check out these next two weekends are pancake breakfasts, wagon rides and learning how the producers turn the sap they collect in to syrup, candy and even maple mustard!

There are hundreds of places to visit that offer a wide variety of events around Western New York. Here are just a few of them that I suggest you take your family to!
