The Voice is Back, Wins Emmy Award!

The Voice returns tonight (Sept. 23) with the original coaches Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green returning to the panel that includes three time champion Blake Shelton season one winner Adam Levine.  The show starts on a high note having become the only reality singing competition to win an Emmy, something the show’s arch rival ‘American Idol’ hasn’t been able to do.  Idol has been nominated nine times but not since 2011 and the show hasn’t taken Emmy home.  This is the second consecutive year the Voice was nominated and last night (Sept 22.) the show took the golden statue home.

The new season’s mentor’s in Cher for Team Blake, Ed Sheeran for Team Christina, Miguel for Team Cee Lo and One Republic’s Ryan Tedder for Team Adam.  This looks to be another good season for the Emmy winning Reality show.
