Sometimes in life you just expect certain things to remain the same.  It's what you grew up on and when those things are taken away it's a shock.  I was surprised to see that Lumber City Pizza restaurant in North Tonawanda has closed without warning.

The restaurant on Erie Avenue replaced the old Pizza Junction.  Although business seemed to be good, apparently not good enough.  Whenever I went there with friends and neighbors the parking lot was full and at times there was a bit of a wait for a table.

There was nothing to indicate they would be closing.  They operated normally until one day they put a sign on the door thanking their customers for their patronage.

There's no word on what might happen to the restaurant or to the building.
