This ‘Sex And The City Star’ Might Be Running For Governor Of New York

Rumors are circulating that Cynthia Nixon might be making a run for governor of New York in the 2018 election. Nixon is know for her role as Miranda on "Sex and the City" who be challenging current Governor Andrew Cuomo in the Democratic primary.

According to abcnews.go.com,

"The Wall Street Journal was the first to report Friday that the "Sex & the City" actress has been approached by liberal groups encouraging her to mount a Democratic primary challenge against Gov. Andrew Cuomo."

Incumbent Governor Andrew Cuomo will be seeking his third term in 2018.
