This Week We Remember Charles William Stephan As Our Hometown Hero!

It’s time once again for our Hometown Hero, brought to you by Batavia Downs Gaming with help from our friends at WNY Heroes who help us with our nominations every week.  This week, our Hometown Hero from West Seneca, NY is Air Force  E4 Senior Airman Charles William Stephan!

Senior Airman Stephan served in the United States Air Force from 1967-1970. He was a Vietnam Veteran who served as a machinist. He spent an entire year in Vietnam from 1968-1969. In 1970 Charles received an Honorable Discharge from the United States Air Force. He was a well decorated Airman to include the Vietnam Service Medal with a bronze service star along with a Vietnam Campaign medal. Unfortunately Charles just passed November 3, 2016.

This week, we are grateful for Charles as we keep his entire family in our thoughts.  We are proud to name Senior Airman Charles William Stephan our Hometown Hero of the week!
