It’s time once again for our Hometown Hero, brought to you by Batavia Downs Gaming with help from our friends at WNY Heroes who help us with our nominations every week.  This Week’s Hometown Hero is from Depew, NY.  From our United States Army, it’s Staff Sergeant Kevin Lange!

Staff Sergeant Kevin Lange served in the United States Army for 14 years from 2002 to 2016.   The terrorist attacks of 9/11 was a driving force for him joining. Lange was attached to the 105th MP Company where he Started Heroes March Against Hunger in 2006 that ran for 6 years strong. He later deployed to IRAQ In 2011 where he was a team leader. His duties included Soldier care and ensuring the planned mission was accomplished. Kevin states his wife "Tina has stood by me through it all" And even after Kevin completed his service he continues to support veterans in his community making sure

NO SOLDIER is LEFT BEHIND!
