Throw those boring Christmas Cards out the window!

Does your Holiday Cards you send out every year look rather boring?  Is everyone dressed up in the same outfit and huddled around a roaring fire?  Or even better, do you and your husband dress up as Santa and Mrs. Claus while the children have elf costumes on?  Seriously those holiday card ideas are so last year!  This year take picture that everyone will keep for years to come!!

The minute I heard about this event at the Buffalo Zoo I almost died and went to Heaven!  If you haven’t figured it out yet I’m a huge animal lover so this was definitely right up my alley.  This year at the Buffalo Zoo you’ll have the chance to have a Sea Lion Encounter!  I’m not talking about sitting in the bleachers as you watch a trainer have all of the fun with the adorable Sea Lions.  NO!  I’m talking about really has an encounter with the Sea Lion.  Visitors will have the opportunity to meet Pocus!  Pocus is one of the 2 male California Sea Lions at the Buffalo Zoo!!  Sounds exciting right?  Well it gets even better!   You’ll get to have a behind the scenes look at the holding area at the NOCO Sea Lion Cove.  See what really goes on back there!  Then visitors will have the chance to get their pictures taken with Pocus the Sea Lion!! I’m not joking!  You’ll get to choose either to receive a kiss from Pocus or pose right next to him as a “trainer” while holding a target pole!  How cool is that!  Can you tell my excitement for this! What an incredible Christmas card picture that will be!   Here’s the detail if you are interested in getting your photo taken with Pocus.  The following dates are available for the event:  November 26 and 27 and December 3, 4, 10, 11, 17, and 18.  Photo sessions will take place at 10:30am and 1:30pm.  Be on time for the event too because they are going to start right away!  By the way there is an age requirement for participants unfortunately.  You have to be 6 years of age or older to have your picture taken with the Sea Lion.  There is a set number of people that can participate at each encounter so call today and make a reservation!  Reservations can be made by calling the Zoo’s Switchboard Operator at (716) 837-3900 between the hours of 9am and 5pm.  Check out more details at the zoo’s website buffalozoo.org.  If you do have your picture taken with Pocus the Sea Lion do me a favor and email me your picture!  I’d love to see it!
