My entire life I never worried about ticks.  Then last summer I found one crawling on my leg!  Ticks are getting worse here and if you want info on them, there's a forum coming up that will educate you about them.

What do you do if you see a tick?  Are they dangerous?  Could they get you sick?

It's something that (for the most part) we haven't had to worry much about in the past.  But these days, you're seeing more and more of them and it never hurts to be safe about them.

So the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Erie County will be holding a Western New York Tick Awareness Forum on January 24, 2019, from 4:00pm-6:00 pm. It will be held at the West Seneca Community Center 1300 Union Road, West Seneca.

It's an opportunity to gain awareness of tick-borne diseases in NY state. For more info contact Sharon Bachman sin2@cornell.edu or (716) 652-5400 ext 150.
