The record business is a tough one.  Granted, it can be a rewarding career.  But all too often we hear of artists who are in a legal battle with their record labels.  Tim McGraw is the latest to win his suit against the only label he's ever recorded with.

McGraw has been in an ongoing battle with Curb records since May 13th when they filed a breach of contract suit.  He responded with a countersuit on May 24th seeking advance payment and recording fund-reimbursement.

Today a Nashville judge ruled in favor of Tim McGraw and he is now free to record for another label or for himself.
