To Newtown, With Love — A Townsquare Media Buffalo Effort to Help Heal Sandy Hook

Since news broke of Friday's (December 14) tragic shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., so many people -- at our studio, in Buffalo and across the country -- have been asking what they can do to help. And while nothing we can do will ever really be enough, we want to help Buffalonians show their support for our East Coast neighbors.

WYRK and our sister stations, 96.1 Joy FM, 92.9 Jack FM and WBLK, have joined forces, along with sister stations across the country, for "To Newtown, With Love."

Tomorrow (December 18) and Wednesday (December 19), we'll be at the Walden Galleria, on the lower level outside Sephora, with a giant "To Newtown, Love Buffalo" banner from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. Take a quick break from your Christmas shopping to stop by and sign your words of love, encouragement and support for Sandy Hook Elementary School and all of Newtown.

If you're unable to make it to the Galleria, you can also send a card on your own. The Newtown Post Office has set up a box specifically for condolence letters. The address is:
