What's that saying about the apple not falling far from the tree? Turns out it's applicable to country singers, too. Just ask Toby Keith, who's rolling out the red carpet for his daughter to start her own solo recording career.

Krystal Keith, who previously cut a duet with her dad for his 'Greatest Hits 2' collection, has inked a deal with her dad's Show Dog label, and she's currently prepping for work on her debut -- which will be produced by Toby, along with label exec Mark Wright.

Songwriters, take note: the Keith team is looking for "fun, young tempo [songs] and rangy ballads in the vein of Jo Dee Messina, Pam Tillis [and] Martina McBride" for Krystal's debut. Get those demos mailed in!
