October 8th is a big day in history for Keith Urban for a couple reasons.  The first happened in 2002.  The other happened 2 years later in 2004.  Can you guess what happened?

On October 8th, 2002, Capitol records released Keith Urban's "Golden Road" album.  It was  a huge CD for Keith that saw 3 of the 4 singles released go to #1 on the charts.  "Somebody Like You", "Who Wouldn't Wanna Be Me" and "You'll Think of Me" all went to number one.  The other single released was "Raining on Sunday" which topped out at #3.

Now you might be saying, "wait, "You Look Good in My Shirt" was on that CD.  Didn't that go to #1? "  Yes...it did, but not until it was re-released on his Greatest Hits CD 5 years later.

October 8th, 2004 is also a big day for Keith Urban because it was the first date of his solo headlining tour.  It was called the Livin' Right Now Tour and it was to support his 4th CD, Be Here.
