Today In Country Music History: Tim And Faith Get Married

It was today back in 1996 when Tim McGraw and Faith Hill got married.  After hearing about some of the more extravagant wedding ceremonies and receptions that have taken place with celebrities, this one turned out to be VERY low key.

It was so low key in fact that according to Celebrity Bride Guide, the guests didn't even know they were invited to the wedding. 

They thought they were being invited to a celebrity softball game and benefit concert in Tim's hometown of Rayville, Louisiana.  But at noon, Tim and Faith stood under an oak tree and said their vows to each other.
