You’ve probably seen and heard commercials about Red Nose Day which is today. What exactly is Red Nose Day? It’s a non-profit Comic Relief, which uses comedy to raise money for disadvantaged people, launched Red Nose Day in the United Kingdom in 1988. Since then, the day has raised more than $1 billion globally.

Red Nose Day recently was introduced to the United States in 2015 and is becoming more well known with the help of national celebrities and Walgreen stores. Since its launch in the U.S., $60 Millions have been raised and has benefited children and young people in all 50 states, as well as 25 countries.

This year, NBC TV is dedicating a full night of programming in support of the Red Nose Day efforts.  A new 15 feature of 'Love Actually' will air updating the stories of the feature film.  And Julie Roberts In" Running Wild with Bear Grylls" for Red Nose Day at 9 p.m. This looks riveting to me as she actress travels to Kenya on a quest to deliver vaccines.
