2014 Downtown Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration

The annual downtown Christmas tree lighting ceremony is free and held at 20 Fountain Plaza in Buffalo. It takes place on Saturday, Dec. 6 at 5 p.m. and kicks off the free skating at the Rotary Rink.

Fairgrounds Festival of Lights

Taking place at the Hamburg Fairgrounds, the Festival of Lights gives visitors the opportunity to drive through light displays then park for more fun, including rides, shows, crafts and visits with Santa.  The festival is open Dec. 5 -7, Dec. 12-14, Dec. 19-23 and Dec. 26 - 28. Gates open 5 to 9 p.m. Grounds and buildings are open til 10 p.m.

Fatima Shrine Festival of Lights

Open through Tuesday, Jan 6 from 5 to 9 p.m. the Our Lady of Fatima Shrine Festival of Lights at 1023 Swann Rd., Lewiston, NY, 14174, Niagara County, includes 75 lighted displays. Climb to the top of the Basilica, where you can view fifteen acres of Christmas lights.
