High school football - It's what we used to LIVE for when I lived in Springville.  It was with good reason.  It was exciting to get out on that field on a friday night under the lights.  People would talk about the chances of a championship at the barber shop and at the grocery store.  This is my hometown.

I'm very proud of it.  It was a great place to grow up, to go to school, and to play football.  There's a good chance that your town might make you feel the same.

So I wanted to share this video with you.  Dave Deluca from The Springville Journal produced it and it does a real good job showing what Springville football is all about.  It's about the pride in the program and the work being done to get back to where we were.

I don't live in Springville anymore.  I've lived in Hamburg, Lakeshore, and Eden school districts since my days there.  Obviously most schools have pride in their programs.  Even if you're not from Springville, you might be able to relate to this video.  Best of luck to everyone who participates in high school sports this year.  I hope your memories are as exciting as mine are.  Enjoy the moment.  They're gone before you know it.
