12:42 AM: Suspicious package found by location of suspect that is in custody. Bomb squad on scene.

12:40 AM: One suspect is in custody after shootout. Another person of interest has turned himself in--still no confirmation on his involvement.

12:17 AM: Police say no suspects are in custody.

12:00 AM: DPD Chief Brown: "We also believe these suspects have threatened to plant a bomb in the downtown area."

As of 11:15, Dallas police confirm that 11 officers have been shot, 3 officers, including one DART officer have died.

As of 11:12, one suspect has been "neutralized".

As of 10:58 PM, the condition of the two officers is unknown.

After two instances where people were shot and killed by police this week, rallies have started in many major cities across the country. We've seen these in the past after the deaths of Trayvon Martin and Freddie Gray.

In downtown Dallas tonight there was a peacful protest to the recent deaths of Alton Sterling in Baton Rouge and Philando Castile in Minnesota. Two suspects on elevated perches were behind the attacks.
