United States Navy Veteran Michael Leader Is This Week’s Hometown Hero

It’s time once again for our Hometown Hero, brought to you by Batavia Downs Gaming with help from our friends at WNY Heroes who help us with our nominations every week.  This week, we look to the United States Navy for our Hometown Hero.  From Cheektowaga, it’s Navy Veteran Michael Leader!

Michael was an E-5 in the Navy.  His nomination says:

Mike is a protector, always has been. He has hearing loss from his service. He has bad hips, back, and knees. However he works his tail off to provide for us. He is an amazing person. I would choose him all over again! He is my hero, always will be.

Today we say thank you to Michael and all the other protectors out there fighting for our freedom.  We are proud to name Michael Leader our Hometown Hero of the week!
