I am proud of my hometown of Marilla, New York. It's a rural, farming, close-knit community. We live on a 65 acre farm, the same property my wife grew up on. I am even prouder of the way my community honors heroes...TRUE heroes. I am talking our servicemen and servicewomen. Our VETERANS!

On Sunday, I worked my law enforcement job as a part of the Erie County Sheriff's Mounted Reserve Unit and rode "Cowboy", joined by my partner Deputy Bill Pukalo and his horse "Spencer" in the Marilla Veterans Parade. Here are just a some of the pictures I snapped along the way.

Being a part of this is a wonderful way to say "THANK YOU" to all our Veterans. It's the least I can do for all they have done for you and me.
