From the 12th floor of one of the tallest buildings in the city (the Rand Building), we get some pretty terrific views of sunrises, sunsets, blue skies and rain. For the snow storm that is currently advancing on Buffalo, we thought we needed to get a little higher...

We took a trip to the very top of the Rand Building to watch the snow storm move into the city in real time. From 26 stories up, you can only imagine how powerful the wind is. It's impossible to hear anything else! However cold it is on the ground, it's that much colder with the wind cutting through any and all layers of clothing we had on.

Fortunately we didn't lose anyone over the railing. While it doesn't look like this one is going to quite match the Snowvember storm, it's clear that winter is upon us.
