Musicians visit the station all the time, and I've heard many horror stories about how guitars, mandolins and other instruments get damaged by airlines. In this case, the instrument is a rather expensive violin.

These violinists are told they are unable to bring their violins in the cabin with them and are asked to leave this U.S. Airways flight.
