Wal-Mart Gets a Jump on Black Friday With Thanksgiving Night Hours, Sales
This morning listening to Clay and Dale, I heard them mention that some retailers like Wal-Mart are getting a jump on Black Friday this year. Instead of the typical midnight or 3am, 4am start in to the holiday shopping season, they’re opening doors on Thanksgiving night with special sales. I myself am not one to venture out after a big meal or even in the wee hours of the morning, but I know so many who love doing so. I mean they treat it like their Super Bowl.
I wanted to see if there would be anything that would encourage me to head out to Wal-Mart after my turkey dinner so I did some investigating on what sales and items will be available with killer deals.
Some of the Thanksgiving night price cuts are for a 32-inch Emerson 720p high definition LCD TV for $148, (an $80 discount) and a $38 Blu-ray player. More seen here. It’s very likely there will be some online deals that will undercut what Wal-Mart is offering so if you’re not one to battle the crowds, online shopping will be a better choice. If you are planning your early Black Friday attack, good luck and happy shopping!
