Longhouse Steakhouse on Walden Avenue by the Galleria Mall unexpectedly closed Wednesday evening.

Don't worry though, they're not closing their doors for good on us so we can't get their killer steak and addicting bread.

For good reason they shut down – they wanted to put their guests and customers first. There were reported illnesses of flu-like symptoms following visits. Assumingly, to avoid a situation like Chipotle has right now across the country, Longhorn took immediate action.

According to WKBW this is the statement from a representative:

After receiving reports from a few guests and team members who experienced flu-like symptoms, we worked directly with the Health Department.  The Health Department inspected the restaurant earlier today and found no violations or concerns.  The health and safety of our guests and team members is our top priority, which is why we took the additional step of voluntarily closing our restaurant in order to conduct a thorough sanitization. We plan to reopen tomorrow at 4pm for dinner.

The restaurant plans to reopen Thursday at four for dinner.
