It's not necessarily "the big one." But it was an earthquake big enough to get resident's attention in Los Angeles Tuesday evening.

According to reports:

A 4.4-magnitude earthquake shook Southern California about 25 miles east of downtown Los Angeles on Tuesday, but there were no immediate reports of damage or injuries, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

ABC in Los Angeles says that it was the biggest quake to hit the city in three years.
