It's no doubt Glenn Frey, a founding member of the rock band the Eagles, will leave a great legacy behind as he passed away at age 67 on Monday from a long struggle from complications from rheumatoid arthritis, acute ulcerative colitis and pneumonia, according to the band's website.

Frey and the other original members of the Eagles — Don Henley, Randy Meisner and Bernie Leadon -- came together to form singer Linda Ronstadt's backup band in the early 1970s. Singers including the country music world were deeply saddened learning the news of Frey's passing.

Keith Urban sat at the piano Monday night to tribute the late Glenn Frey doing a cover of the Eagles' 'Take It Easy'.

So deeply saddened tonight to hear of Glenn Frey's passing. Way too young.... Blessings to all of his family and the Eagles! - KU
