Last night I had the pleasure of attending the Spring Choral Concert at Williamsville East High School.  Director Maureen Reilly put together a phenomenal evening of musical variety sure to please any music fan.  Being a musician myself, I tend to get critical of musical performances, but I could not find any flaws in the musical program I witnessed last night.  The singing and playing by these Williamsville East students was purely outstanding! Many of these singers could go toe to toe with anyone you would see on American Idol. Every performance was amazing and many just gave me goosebumps.

Some of the highlights included: Meghan Delnicki's rendition of  'Killing Me Softly', Gabrielle Meyer's version of 'Our Love Is Here To Stay', Nicole Trubish's vocal treat of 'Stars And The Moon', and one performance that stopped me in my tracks, Matthew Moulin's cover of Michael Buble's 'Home'. I wish I had last night's concert on a DVD or CD so I could experience such wonderful music again. Aside from Director Maureen Reilly, kudos also go out to accompanist Justin Bartkowski, whose piano playing was nothing less than stellar. Thank you to every singer and musician who performed last night.  You all make me very proud to say I too am from Williamsville East High School.-
