WATCH: Toronto Blue Jays Pitcher Hit in Head by Line Drive
A scary moment during spring training baseball in Florida for the Toronto Blue Jays. TJ House, one of the Jays’ relief pitchers was hit in the head with a line drive.
House apparently did not lose consciousness, according to Ausmus. He used his glove to cover his head, which was bleeding.

Over the weekend ESPN.com filed a report that indicated House was able to recover and get back to business with the team:
“Obviously, it was definitely a rough day yesterday,” said House, who was released from Lakeland Regional Medical Center earlier Saturday. “Whirlwind experience — and I’m doing a lot better than I thought I would be doing today. Definitely got some good news at the hospital. Just excited to be back here and kind of get into a normal routine again.”
