This is what it's all about. Both the police stations and fire departments in Western New York were more than proud of the boys coming home from Syracuse--win or lose. Congratulations to the West Seneca Indians on bringing home the New York State High School Championship Class A on Friday night!

Ironically, the Indians were on a 12-year playoff drought, but snapped it and took it all the way beating the Yorktown Huskers 14 to 6. The team was welcomed by West Seneca Police escorting them from the 400 back to school where the firetrucks were waiting to greet them!

The Lancaster Legends didn't have the same luck on Sunday afternoon, but everyone in Lancaster is surely proud of them. It was a tough loss to defending state champs, Troy High School (Albany area), 41-26.

Though, the fire departments and police department were quite proud as well--lining up getting ready to welcome them back at Lancaster High School to give them a heroes welcome!
