Wayne 'The Train' Hancock is in ICU after he was injured in a motorcycle accident last Saturday (April 26). The country singer-songwriter suffered a collapsed lung and fractured elbow, according to a post on his Facebook page.

The post says Hancock was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. "He is doing fine but will be in Hospital ICU for a few more days and then will be put in regular room," it reads. "They are keeping him in ICU due to the lung and watching him closely and trying to prevent him from getting pneumonia. His arm is in a soft cast."

Despite the injuries and hospitalization, Hancock is staying positive. "His spirits are high and wishes he could be with y'all, but things are out of his hands at the moment and [he] must do as the doctors tell him so as to make sure he can return to y'all. He sends his love and regrets and asks for prayers and good thoughts."

Hancock had several shows scheduled for May but due to his injuries these shows will all be cancelled. Anyone who wants to send cards can send them to 4937 Stuart Road #181, Denton, TX 76207.

The 48-year-old Texan is know as the King of Juke Joint Swing. The alt-country stars is often compared to Hank Williams.
