Need to getaway for a Mid-Winter weekend trip that would be exciting and totally different from any winter trip that you have ever taken?  Come out for the weekend and stay in a Yurt at Falls Brook, up in the Adirondacks where they will have plenty of late winter snow.

Right now, you may be asking yourself, what the heck is a Yurt? Here's your answer: a Yurt is a unique circular insulated abode in the middle of mother-nature.  The Yurt is an open atmosphere and very different from a standard cabin or tent.  The Yurt has a propane heating system, kitchen and sleeping quarters.  There is even a private, clean outhouse within a short walking distance.

Your weekend will be spent snowshoeing and exploring the multitude of marked trails that are right at the Yurt’s front door.

Don't have snowshoes? Dont worry, the crew at Paths Peaks and Paddles has everything to get you ready for the outdoors. If you are new to snowshoeing and want to try before you buy, Paths Peaks and Paddles can take care of rentals as well.
