Wendy Lynn’s Favorite Scary Movies [VIDEO]
It has been a while since the last time I saw a really good scary movie. It seems to be a dying art. I’m talking about the kind of movie that scares you so much, you actually have nightmares like “Psycho” “Rosemary’s Baby” or the original “Exorcist” It seems today’s so-called scary movies are just blood baths with no true story to tell, in my opinion anyway.
Halloween is coming and it's perfect time to share my top favorite scary movies of all time (in no particular order)
“Scream” The original; it had me from the first scene with Drew Barrymore. So many turns and twists, I honestly didn’t see the ending coming.
“The Exorcist” This movie truly horrified me, all I can say is I won’t eat pea soup ever again. Just saying.
“Poltergeist” The thought that a little girl could be taken by people in the TV scared the crap out of me when I was younger and that scene when the mother fell into the swimming pool full of dead corpses freaked me out big time. Two words….”They’re here”
“Halloween” The original with Jamie Lee Curtis, this one of the first scary movies that I saw at a theater and wouldn’t go into a dark room for weeks after seeing and I would always check behind the doors after entering a room too.
“Rosemary’s Baby” The black baby crib was a haunting sight. This movie made you think and the more I did think about a cult who worshiped the devil the more it totally scared the life out of me. I had nightmares for weeks.
