A couple days ago I put together a list of my 5 favorite things to find in my lunchbox as a kid.  There were also a couple things that I was always hoping were not in there when I flipped the lid open.  One of those things was a sandwich that my dad used to make.  We didn't think that much of it when we were growing up, but looking back at it now, it could have been one of the strangest sandwich combinations ever.

My cousins will sometimes still bring this up as one of the worst things to ever come out of my household.  You see, what my dad put on the table is what we all ate.  He didn't make special meals for people.  He used to always say that if you wanted that, you had to go to a restaurant.

He would make a sandwich made from peanut butter and miracle whip.  In all honesty, I didn't think it was that bad when I was a kid.  Maybe that's just because I grew up eating it but my cousins used to HATE it.

Needless to say, we used to get some pretty strange looks when we had it in our lunch.  While everyone else was eating peanut butter and fluff or peanut butter and jelly, ours was made with miracle whip.  I've seen some pretty strange sandwich combinations though.  Elvis himself used to eat fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches.

What is the strangest food combination you've ever seen?
