Which US States have the rudest drivers on the road? Insure.com listed them and New York State didn’t rank #1. New York was listed at number 3.

 

  • 5. Massachusetts -While other states may try to deny or downplay their rudeness, Massachusetts drivers embrace it, as evidenced by their “Masshole” bumper stickers.
  • 4. Wyoming - Wyoming’s nickname, “The Cowboy State,” and in the dictionary the word cowboy is described as “a reckless or irresponsible person, especially a show-off or one who undertakes a dangerous or sensitive task heedlessly.”
  • 3. New York – We all know this is geared to Upstate NY and New York City, New Yorkers are known for their lack of respect to other drivers.
  • 2. District of Columbia – Just like the politicians, drivers are fast and reckless - Washington, D.C., ranked number 1 in speeding tickets per capita.
  • 1. Idaho – This state has two opposite types of drivers, slow and steady and fast and furious and the two don’t mix well causing major rude acts on the roads.
