[Dale Mussen photo][/caption]Our alphabetical sign tour of Western New York began with "A" and we'll continue until we run out of letters or run out of signs, whichever comes first.  The first one was way too easy. Did you get it? Most people did.

Anderson's Frozen Custard has been around since 1946 when Carl And Greta Anderson operated a frozen custard stand in Bronx, NY.  In 1947 they moved to Buffalo where they opened a small stand on Kenmore Ave. then moved to a larger store on Sheridan Drive in 1953. That Sheridan Drive location is still there and over the years they've added six more locations.  Anderson's added roast beef to the menu in 1964 and the menu has continued to expand ever since.

"B" is up next on our WNY alphabetical sign tour on Friday.
