WNY’s Own Abby Wambach Breaks International Soccer Record [VIDEO]

WNY native and WNY Flash player Abby Wambach now holds the international goal-scoring record!

Thursday night (June 20), she scored four goals against South Korea, which brought her up to 160 international goals! That’s two more than the previous holder, Mia Hamm (158)!

In true Wambach fashion, Abby talked mostly about her teammates and how she’s more focused on winning the championships, like the World Cup in 2015, than her own personal records.

You can see this legend play, in person, right here in WNY at Sahlen Stadium in Rochester. Check out the Flash’s full schedule!
