WYRK Fans Raise Over $8,000 For Oklahoma Tornado Victims!

It is the one thing that I brag about most: The listeners that we have in Western New York are extremely loyal and generous!

The results are in, and WYRK/Townsquare Media's "Pennies From Heaven" initiative raised over $8,000!! The money will be passed along to the victims of the violent tornadoes that ripped through Oklahoma back in May.

Over this past weekend, Toby Keith and friends put together a concert aimed at relief efforts, as did Blake Shelton with his hour-long telethon back in May. It just goes to show you what country fans are made of. When it is time to step up and help out our friends and neighbors, you come through in big ways.
