Yellow Submarine Recovered In Gowanda [PHOTO]

On Thursday, there was a report of a submarine that had gone missing in Gowanda! This sounds like a joke, right? You just can't make this stuff up.

This is the photo of the submarine that had been taken from a backyard along Cattaraugus Creek in Gowanda. Sources tell WYRK that the Gowanda Police spotted the missing submarine on a trailer and pulled over the suspect in an effort to recover the stolen underwater craft.

The submarine had been parked in the Gowanda area for years, and according to reports, has been used for recreation on local waterways such as Lake Erie. It has since been returned to its owner.
