You Will Be Spending More This Holiday Season

Color us all shocked, right? It looks like spending will go up for this holiday season. A new report is saying that spending will go up 5% this year meaning consumers will each spend about $1,250. They break that spending down further with $693 for gifts, $361 on travel and $196 on entertainment.

The good news is that more than half of people will be using their money to buy gifts for family, which is always a plus. However, 28% are still all about treating themselves! Other findings show that men will probably be spending this most, with men projected to spend over $1,4000 whereas women are expected to spend around $1,100.

Bottom line, the holidays are almost here and you should start saving or even start shopping to help ease the hurt on the wallet.
