It was another big night at Darien Lake Saturday night (September 8).  The Zac Brown Band finally played Western New York after fans waited patiently for them to do so.  Before this show was announced, I can’t tell you how many times I was asked about when the Zac Brown Band would be coming to Buffalo.  Saturday night was the night, and without a doubt, the guys delivered the goods for their fans.

Something they do for fans before the show is a special Eat 'n Greet, where the band, including Zac Brown, serves those in attendance dinner.  I was lucky enough to be invited and was completely floored at the notion that the guys would serve the food.

Now let’s talk about the food: This wasn’t a hot dog and hamburger dinner! They went all out, using a top chef who prepared beef and pork tenderloin in Zac’s own sauce recipe, along with locally grown veggies.  We finished with the peanut butter biscuit pudding that was out-of-this-world good.  This was an awesome experience that I will never forget.  Thank you Zac Brown Band for being so darn cool and down to Earth!
