4 ‘Feel Good Stories’ From The City of Good Neighbors This Week
Yesterday, the West Seneca School district gathered up all of their 1,400 goggles, masks and 1,400 other equipment and gave it to the Erie County Medical Center.
It's just one example of the many ways Western New York has stepped up to help anyone in need. Step Out Buffalo asked the internet for their best ways you've seen the City of Good Neighbors step up. If you have any other examples, we would love to add them.
"Went to target and miraculously found Clorox wipes to buy for my staff at ecmc....limit 2 per customer. Every single person in my checkout line gave me their 2 bottle limit as well so i could bring them to the hospital. I didn't even ask..every one of the volunteered."
"I love this city! My favorite Indian restaurant, Kabab & Curry started offering free meals to those in need Monday. After seeing that there is no way I'll ever get Indian anywhere else, so happy to give them my business."
"@barrelInBrine and other local businesses they are teaming with are donating free food to those in need. Generous community builders".
"Habitat for Humanity Buffalo ad 20,000 face masks in their inventory.....they donated them to all to Kaledia Health for distribution to the front lines...these are the organizations we need to remember to donate to Buffalo City of Good Neighbors."
