Keith Urban has held his ground as elite country superstar status as the young guns, such as Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean and Miranda Lambert, take over. His past 16 album singles have all reached the Top 5 on the County Billboard Charts, and eight have gone #1.

Undoubtedly, Keith has one the biggest hearts in Nashville, supporting the charities Fisher House Foundation, Live Earth, Red Cross, The Salvation Army and, especially, a ton of effort to St. Jude's, where he annually raises money and visits kids at the hospital. In the past, Keith’s fans of "The Ville" have started a fund to raise money for St. Jude in honor of his birthday. This has grown into a wonderful birthday gift for Keith from his fans.

Keith also hosts the biggest charity event for the Country Music Hall of Fame, which he started from scratch. For almost a half a decade, Keith and Vince Gill recruit the country music community, getting superstars to play the biggest charity show of the year for The Hall.

The song, "For You" that was in the movie Act Of Valor was one that he decided meant so much to him that he wanted to give away all the money that the song made. All artist and publishing royalties received from the sale of “For You” went right to the Navy SEAL Foundation, which "supports SEAL families and their parents by easing financial burdens, establishing support networks and funding command sponsored activities."

No doubt he had to make the list.
