Sunday's Auto Club 400 in Fontana, California needed two green-white-checkered restarts to finish and it's where Brad Keselowski used the advantage of four fresh tires to pass Kurt Busch on the final lap.  It's the only lap he led all day, but it gave him his 17th career victory and first at Auto Club Speedway.  His previous best finish there was 18th.

Kevin Harvick came just short of his attempt to sweep all three west coast races.  He settled for second to extend his streak of Top-2 finishes to eight extending back to last season.  But it's the first time in NASCAR history that a driver has started the season finishing first or second in the opening five races.

In just his second race of the season, Busch led a race-high 65 laps and appeared on his way to his first win of the season when a caution flag came out for debris on the track with two laps left.  Most of the leaders came in for two tires.  Keselowski went with four and it was a strategic move that made the difference.  Busch was forced to settle for third place.

Paul Menard and Ryan Newman completed the Top-5.  Dale Earnhardt, Jr. was sixth.

All 43 cars were running at the end of the race.  That's the first time that has happened since the Brickyard 400 in 2013.

The season continues next week at Martinsville Speedway.
