Buffalo Police Officer Joins The Harlem Globetrotters Anti-Bullying Campaign
The Harlem Globetrotters are coming to Buffalo, and when they do, they'll be sharing an anti-bullying campaign with one Buffalo school.
This time, they'll have some help from a Buffalo police officer who went viral with a video of him reaching out to the community by playing basketball with some young kids (and showing off his skills in the meantime) this past August.
His name is Officer Rivera and he's got skills!
Officer Rivera will be joining Harlem Globetrotters star Hops Pearce to share an anti-bullying message at PS 65 Roosevelt ECC today.
The message will be delivered with an acronym - T.E.A.M. – Talk, Empathize, Ask, and Mobilize, while utilizing some of the team’s signature ball-handling skills and humor.
Look for The Harlem Globetrotters when they bring their 2020 “Pushing the Limits” World Tour to the KeyBank Center in Buffalo on Friday, Feb. 7 at 7:00 p.m.
Win tickets to go to the show from Brett Alan this week on your lunch break from 12noon-1pm!
