The Buffalo Sabres 4-0 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Friday night was their most complete team victory of the season.  Jamie McGinn scored a pair of goals including one on the power play.  David Legwand scored shorthanded and Sam Reinhart scored his 18th goal of the season to take over the team lead in that category.

The Sabres also got superb goaltending from Robin Lehner.  In picking up his third career shutout and first as a Sabre, Lehner stopped all 38 shots he faced.  Some of his saves were of the spectacular variety.

The Sabres penalty kill was perfect in stopping all six Columbus power play opportunities and even got a fluky shorthanded goal when Legwand shot the puck down the ice from his own end and it surprised Columbus goaltender Joonas Korpisalo.

The Sabres return home to host the Pittsburgh Penguins on Sunday afternoon.
