Additional Information

The Iroquois Foundation is hosting a 4-Miler Race to Salute Veterans on Sunday, November 11th - the 100th Anniversary of the ending of World War I.

The Race will begin at Iroquois Veterans’ Memorial/Flagpole, 2111 Girdle Road, Elma, at 9:30 a.m. and ends at the Made In America Store in East Aurora. Online registration is at www.itsyourrace.com/event.aspx?id=8340. Pre-registration is $25 or $39 on the day of the race.  Veterans receive a $5 discount. A free shuttle will be running between the race start (school campus) and the finish. The first 100 registrants receive a pair of Wigwam Socks from the Made In America Store.

Following the race, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. (or sold out) there will be a Krolick’s Chicken BBQ at the Made In America Store for $10.

All proceeds go to The Iroquois Foundation, which seeks to encourage educational creativity and opportunities by helping to fund innovative, non-budgeted projects throughout the Iroquois School District. This past year, The Foundation issued over $3,000 in grants as well as a $1,000 scholarship to an Iroquois senior, and sponsors the annual Distinguished Alumni Wall of Fame awards.
