Frankie Ballard has debuted the music video for his latest single, "It All Started With a Beer."

The "It All Started With a Beer" video opens on Ballard in a recording studio; in fact, the entire clip takes place in a studio, featuring the singer-songwriter singing the love song and showing both the recording process and Ballard and his band having some fun. The music video wraps with Ballard putting his guitar back on the wall and walking away.

"I really enjoyed expressing myself visually with this new video,” Ballard says in a press release. “I called up some buddies, had a few beers and shot some cool studio moments. I wanted people to see us playing the song. This new album is all about the music, so I thought, let's show that!"

“It All Started With a Beer” was co-written by Ballard and Jaren Johnston of the Cadillac Three. To work on his upcoming disc, Ballard and his band left Nashville for more than a week.

“We’re going to go in with nothing, and we’re going to come out with an album,” Ballard explained at the time. “And that’s the way all my favorite albums were made. You slept at the studio — we’re going to do that. If we feel like putting down some guitars at two in the morning, we will.”

“It All Started With a Beer” is available on iTunes. There is no official word yet on when Ballard's new project will be released.
