A local soldier who gave his life in service of his country is back home in Western New York.  The funeral of Sgt. William Wilson will be on Friday.  You can pay your respects at the Amigone Funeral Home on Sheridan Drive at Hopkins in Amherst today and tomorrow from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.  Wilson was killed on March 26th in Afghanistan.  He was a graduate of Williamsville North High School.

Before last night’s hockey game the fans at First Niagara Center were asked to observe a moment of silence in honor of fallen servicemen.

And I think it’s sad when some people can’t keep quiet for……what?  15 or 20 seconds out of respect?

Some people just have to yell something stupid.  There were at least five idiots that felt compelled to yell something.

I’m embarrassed for them.  Wouldn’t you be embarrassed if you were with those people?
