It seems like we just got done dealing with a massive winter storm that left a serious impact on our neighborhoods, and now another one is on the way.

To make sure you don't get caught unprepared, there are several things that you should consider doing now to make sure that you are able to survive for the next several days should you lose the ability to travel and get out to stores.

Of course, if you're like me, then you're just now starting to get ready for the snow, it's not too late but you have to act fast. So before you run out to the local grocery store and clear the shelves of all the bottled water and toilet paper, take a few minutes to make a plan.

But don't take too long because time is running out before we have a few feet of snow on the ground.

Having a tank full of gas can be very useful, even if you aren't able to drive anywhere. With a blizzard, comes the threat of high winds; and high winds can cause power outages. If we do lose power, you can use your car to stay warm, charge your devices, and even tune into the radio to make sure you can stay updated with what's happening weather wise.
