Buffalo Bills Circle The Wagons Over The Titans In Big 34-10 Win
The Buffalo Bills returned home to Orchard Park on Sunday, October 20, 2024, after beating the New York Jets to face the tanking Tennessee Titans in a game that Buffalo needed to win to control the AFC East. You couldn't ask for better weather as the Bills faced the Titans for the first time in over two years.
The game got off to a very slow start for the hometown team as the Bills went three-and-out after taking the initial kickoff at the start of the game. Tennessee took their first possession to drive down the field to put Nick Folk in position to kick a field goal. Tennessee scored a touchdown in the second quarter as Mason Rudolph tossed a 4-yard pass to Nick Westbrook-Ikhine.
Buffalo, which scored a first-half touchdown when James Cook took an 11-yard run into the end zone, generally had difficulty dealing with the Tennessee defense. The Titans played some great defense, forcing the Bills to go three-and-out on multiple drives.

The second half of football turned out to be the exact opposite for both teams. Buffalo made some adjustments on offense and defense, and the team started to dominate Tennessee.
Amari Cooper turned his first catch as a Buffalo Bill with a 12-yard touchdown grab from Josh Allen. Later in the third quarter, Keon Coleman snagged a pass from Josh Allen for what appeared to be a touchdown, but the officials called back the score. The Bills then settled for Tyler Bass field goal.
Later in the 4th quarter, coming off of a key Damar Hamiln Interception, Keon Coleman grabbed a quick pitch and catch from Allen, which turned into a big 57-yard scamper. The Bills put up 17 points in the fourth quarter while totally shutting down the Tennessee offense to give them the win in Orchard Park.
